OWLPEN in its magical Cotswold valley setting has long been recognised as one of the most romantic places in England. The famous Tudor manor house (1450-1616) stands in an early formal garden of magnificent yews at the heart of the estate, steeped in 900 years of history. Owlpen and its hamlet of secluded Cotswold holiday cottages form a relaxing hideaway, surrounded by private woods and hills in the most dramatic landscape of the Cotswold hills. Owlpen’s luxury offers peace and seclusion such as you will find nowhere else in southern England.

The licenced Cyder House restaurant is set in an atmospheric medieval building where home-cooked, seasonal meals are served for private parties, with an emphasis on the fresh produce of the working farm and garden. The restaurant, manor house and holiday cottages adapt as the Cotswolds’ most romantic setting for weddings, celebrations, gatherings of friends, meetings and corporate events.

Weddings

Owlpen Manor and its 215-acre estate is the perfect setting for your wedding reception, providing both romance and perfect intimacy for a day that will never be forgotten. The Owlpen team will work with you to create your own bespoke package, and be on hand to take care of you and your family throughout the entire process, ensuring your day is tailored exactly to your wishes.

Owlpen is an extremely adaptable setting for any special occasion, with several marquee sites and wonderful photo opportunities. Offering several beautiful locations on the estate for your wedding reception, the estate is exclusively yours for the entire weekend. Receptions can be held for just 20 and up to 200. All areas are licensed with a superb range of selected wines on offer, and the option of a pay bar if required. The adjacent Church of the Holy Cross provides a breathtaking venue for Church of England wedding services and blessings, by arrangement with the Rector. It is an exquistely beautiful place with wonderful mosaics and outstanding stained glass windows.

Civil marriages and partnerships are held in the Great Hall of the Manor House and adjoining drawing-rooms as well as the Cyder House. These were licensed as Approved Premises under the Marriages and Civil Partnership Acts in 2015. You are more than welcome to just come and have a civil ceremony here at Owlpen, followed by drinks and canapés, or just for a ceremony.

Conferences and Corporate Events

Owlpen in its picturesque Cotswold valley provides the perfect estate for exclusive corporate events and group activities, with the flexibility to provide just the right atmosphere – from the elegance of stately historic interiors to the rough-and-tumble of its woods and hills. There is a conference facility, marquee sites for trade fairs, and ample accommodation in its period cottages.
